Air Preheater Baskets are a compact arrangement of profiled metal sheets placed in the Air Preheater rotor in two or more layers and plays the most important role in the process of heat recovery. The bottom layer, or the cold end layer, is where the air enters and the flue gases are discharged, and is therefore, subjected to severe corrosion due to acid dew point. The Material of Construction and the Profile design of the Heating Elements depends on the operating conditions, quality and type of fuel, etc.

The elements are generally manufactured in Corten Steel (Cold End Baskets) and in Carbon Steel (Hot/Hot Intermediate End Baskets) and the thickness of Elements varies from 0.45mm to 1.6mm and depth up to 1500mm. We are in a position to supply the standard element profiles like Double Undulated (DU), Corrugated Undulated (CU), Corrugated Flat (CF), Notched Flat (NF) etc of different sizes. If any special profiles are required by individual buyers, we are ready to supply the customized profile to them. The standard profile of the Heating Elements, are shown in the Diagram alongside.
We offer all the 3 types of heating element baskets for Lungstorm & Rothemule design of rotary Air Pre-heaters. Our Cold End Baskets are manufactured from Corten Steel, whereas Hot and Intermediate Baskets are produced from Carbon Steel. We require the general dimensions of the Heating Elements for us to supply the required spares for the Air Pre-heaters.
To ensure optimum performance & life under variety of working parameters, we supply the Heating Element Baskets were the steel raw materials are sourced from reputed Mills of China as per specifications equivalent to ASME standards. We supply heating elements profiles of uniform depth and to close toleran ces to ensure thermal and heat transfer efficiency of Air Pre-heaters. We can supply APH Baskets of almost all the sizes and segments in different container designs, with advance quality control checks.
ENAMELLED ELEMENTS:
YOUYETECH DEVELOPMENT LIMITED supplies Enamelled elements for pre-heaters, using DC04ED and DC03ED Steel, as a base material, and an electrostatically applied vitreous enamel. The enamels used have been sourced from leading companies worldwide, in the production of frits, fulfilling all the requirements demanded in the norms that affect this type of manufacture.
Our Enamelled Baskets have excellent adhesion & a homogeneous coating (150 - 160 Microns per side), perfect cover of edges with a minimum thickness at the edges and a high resistance to acid attack.

We incorporate several high quality steel in air heater element and confirm to ASTM and International specifications supplied by Chinese Steel Companies and we provide certificates issued by the mills to our customers with each and every order.
STEEL WITH ENHANCED CORROSION RESISTANCE
The Cor-Ten is High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steel with enhanced corrosion resistance which is used for manufacture of Cold End heating elements of Air Pre-heaters. Although pre-heater represents approx. 2% of investment into a modern boiler, it is able to return up to 20% heat output into a process. We have two types of heating elements – DU Series (Double Undulated) – Hot and Intermediate layer element and NF Series (Notched Flat) used for cold end element The Air PreHeater Baskets supplied by us, are manufactured implementing GB/T 19001: 2008 / ISO 9001 : 2008 (Quality Management) standards. For our customers, located across three continents, we can provide baskets, heating elements and seals for all Air Heaters and Gas-Gas Heaters independent of the original manufacturer of the equipment. The supplied product will be in accordance to the customers’ drawings.
